Brussels plans €250m boost for pipeline

Article previews the details of a €5bn European Commission stimulus package due launched on the 28 January 2009 to include €3.5bn for energy projects and €1.5bn to increase availability of broadband internet in under-served rural areas. Amongst the energy projects the European Commission was expected to offer to invest €250m in Nabucco, the pipeline project that would bring gas from the Caspian region.
