According to the estimates submitted by the Member States in early October and Eurostat estimates, cereals production is expected to reach almost 307 million tonnes in 2008 (+18% in comparison to 2007). Whereas root crops production is decreasing, oilseed production such as rape and sunflower is increasing. |
