The European Commission will deploy an EU Election Observation Mission (EOM) for the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in Ghana scheduled to take place on 7 December 2008. The EU EOM will be led by Mr. Nickolay Mladenov (Bulgaria), Member of the European Parliament and is a contribution to support democracy in Ghana. |
