On 18-19 November, 2008, the Council met to discuss a number of key fisheries issues. European Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Commissioner Joe Borg said 'On the cod recovery plan, I am glad that we did reach a political agreement on a text which will make substantial and positive changes to the way in which we manage these stocks.' |
