The European Commission approved under the EU Merger Regulations the proposed acquisition of the Belgian oleochemicals producer Oleon by the French biodiesel manufacturer Diester Industrie. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition within the European Economic Area (EEA) or a substantial part of it. |
