Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), is deeply concerned at the disappearance of former Ambassador Robert Fowler, the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Niger, and his colleague, former Ambassador Louis Guay, on 14 December 2008 near Niamey, Niger. It has been a month and there has been no claim by the persons responsible for this unacceptable and criminal act. |
