How much does the European Union cost Britain? 2008 edition

This is the third annual edition of a pamphlet which seeks to put a price on Britain’s membership of the European Union: The author claims that the price of the combined direct and indirect expenses of EU membership in 2008 costs Britain £55.775 billion.
