Bulgaria signs up for Azeri gas pipeline

Article reports that Greek, Bulgarian and Italian companies have signed an agreement on the 14 july 2009 to build a 160km pipeline that would end Bulgaria’s reliance on Russia for its natural gas by receiving an alternative supply from Azerbaijan.
