EBRD to trigger investments of up to €15 billion in energy efficiency, renewables in eastern Europe

The EBRD announced in May 2009 that it is to trigger investments in sustainable energy projects worth up to €15 billion in the next three years in its drive to finance the development of new sources of clean energy and to reduce energy wastage throughout eastern Europe.
