Eurozone poll points to easier credit

Eurozone banks will start easing credit conditions for businesses in the final months of this year, according to a closely watched European Central Bank poll (Euro Area Bank Lending Survey, October 2009), which also highlighted swelling demand in the 16-country region for loans to buy houses.
