Accreditation and quality assurance in vocational education and training: Selected European approaches

This publication analyses several national approaches to
accreditation and draws comparisons between them. In particular, it includes an analysis of accreditation practices from the following countries: Germany, Ireland, Italy and Sweden. It precedes a more substantial comparative study – currently in progress in Cedefop – on accreditation of VET providers in assuring the quality in VET.
