China warned on threat of trade backlash

China could face a protectionist backlash in 2010 as a huge overexpansion of industrial capacity, which has built up in 2009, threatens to turn into a new surge of cheap exports, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China said in a report published on the 26 November 2009.
