Press Release: Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the CFSP, met Baroness Catherine Ashton, High Representative-designate

Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), had a meeting today (25.11.2009) with Baroness Catherine Ashton, following her appointment as the new High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. They discussed a wide range of foreign policy and defence issues as well as the imminent entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty.
