A new 'sustainable economy' bill was unveiled by Spain’s Socialist government on the 27 November 2009. The long-awaited draft law – backed by a €20bn fund financed by the state and by Spanish banks – is designed to pull the country out of the economic crisis, improve Spain’s competitiveness in the longer term and promote environmentally sustainable policies. |
