Press Release: Consumers: EU Consumer Commissioner welcomes Maclaren decision to provide hinge cover safety kits for all European consumers

Speaking on 3 December 2009 after a meeting in Brussels with Mr Farzad Rastegar, CEO of Maclaren US, EU Consumer Commissioner Meglena Kuneva welcomed the decision by Maclaren to provide all European consumers with hinge cover safety kits for pushchair buggies. From 2010, all new pushchairs will have hinge covers as a standard accessory.
