The UK Treasury announced on 2 February 2010, that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United Kingdom would be able to access over £700 million of funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB), through participating national banks. At the 2008 Pre-Budget Report, the UK Government announced that SMEs could benefit from up to £4 billion of EIB finance between 2008-2011. |
