Press Release: Mergers: Commission clears proposed merger of InnoLux, Chi Mei Optoelectronics and TPO

The European Commission approved on 25 February 2010 under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed merger between InnoLux Display Corporation, Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corporation and TPO Displays Corporation, three Taiwanese companies active worldwide in the manufacturing of LCD panels. The Commission concluded that the concentration would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
