On 19 March 2010, the European Commission and the African Caraibean Pacific group of 79 States have concluded the second revision of the Cotonou Partnership Agreement. As a result of fruitful dialogue since mid-2009, ACP-EU cooperation will be adapted to today's challenges, such as climate change, food security, regional integration, State fragility and aid effectiveness. It also focuses on the importance of regional integration for ACP countries' economic and sustainable growth. This agreement will be reviewed every five years until 2020. |
