Cesr plans to limit leverage for Ucits funds

Article reports that the Committee of European Securities Regulators were due to publish in April 2010 a consultation paper proposing new guidelines that are likely to include limits on leverage for Ucits funds.

The guidelines will aim to harmonise risk measurement in Europe by introducing a definition of global risk exposure and a methodology for its calculation.
