UK allows flights banned by ash cloud

The United Kingdom lifted flight bans in the evening of the 20 April 2010, joining a trend in many other European countries, after airlines and officials agreed on a way to deal with the volcanic ash that brought much of Europe's skies to a standstill over the previous six days.
