Dr Marc Sprenger was appointed as the Director of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) on 28 April 2010. At the time of his appointment, he was Director-General of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands. He will lead the ECDC for the next five years. |
