Androulla Vassiliou, the European Commissioner responsible for education and culture, discussed future policy priorities at a meeting with Andreas Demetriou, the Cypriot Minister of Education and Culture, in Brussels on 9 May 2010. They were joined by the Polish Minister of National Education, Katarzyna Hall, and the Director-General of the Danish Ministry of Education, Torben Kornbech Rasmussen. Cyprus, Poland and Denmark will lead the Presidency of the European Union from July 2011 to December 2012. |
