The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), in July 2010, published a report on the levels of non dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls in food and animal feed. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are a widespread class of persistent organic chemicals that accumulate in the environment and in humans.
