EMCDDA and CICAD Directors sign three-year work programme

The Director of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), Wolfgang Götz, and the Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), James Mack, signed a new EMCDDA–CICAD work programme for 2011–13 in Lisbon on 21 September 2010. Strategic objectives outlined in the three-year plan include: strengthening regional and international monitoring systems; harmonising and developing indicators in the areas of drug supply and demand; and supporting the establishment of national drug monitoring centres and drug information networks.
