A meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council was held in Luxembourg on 26 October 2010. The conclusions included the following topics: + Political agreement on fishing opportunities for 2011 in the Baltic Sea; + Exchange of views on the annual consultations between the European Union and Norway and on the annual meeting of ICCAT; + Briefing on the proposed amendments to the regulation on support for rural development and the regulation on direct support schemes for farmers in the framework of the alignment of CAP legislation with the provisions of the Lisbon Treaty. |
