The Conciliation Committee for the EU budget 2011 met for the first time on 27 October 2010, in line with the new procedure for the adoption of the annual Union budget provided for by the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU (Article 314). This follows the adoption of divergent Council and European Parliament positions on the draft general budget presented by the European Commission. |
