Talks to form a new Finnish government broke down on 1 June 2011, raising fresh doubt over the country’s role in future eurozone bail-out efforts. Two of the six parties trying to form a ruling coalition walked out of negotiations, increasing the sense of turmoil that surrounded Finnish politics since a breakthrough by the eurosceptic True Finns (later called The Finns) party in the April 2012 general election. |
