EU to sugar Greek pill with ‘nation-building’

Report of discussions and decisions taken at the European Council, Brussels, 23-24 June 2011 concerning the Greek debt crisis and the wider challenges facing the eurozone.

The 27 EU heads of government and state granted their approval for a second aid package for Greece - on the condition that the Greek parliament adopt another austerity package on the 28 June 2011.
