The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of the value added distribution (VAD) business of Mensch und Maschine Software (MuM) by Tech Data Europe, a wholesaler of IT, consumer electronics and telecommunication products. After examining the operation, the Commission concluded that the transaction would not raise competition problems, because the parties have only moderate market shares and will continue to face a sufficient number of competitors in all markets concerned. |
