Report from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on Progress in Bulgaria under the Co-operation and Verification Mechanism

This report is the fifth annual report since the Co-operation and Verification Mechanism (CVM) was set up.

In summer 2012, five years after the inception of the CVM, the Commission will make an overall assessment of Bulgaria's progress under the CVM since accession, and will make appropriate proposals in the light of this assessment.

The present report includes a number of specific recommendations to help Bulgaria to prepare for this overall assessment.
