The final meeting of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on the implementation of the new Eurojust Decision in the Member States took place at Eurojust in The Hague on 10-11 November 2011. The new Decision aims to make Eurojust still more effective in Europe’s fight against serious cross-border crime. It includes a wide range of measures, from making Eurojust’s prosecutors, judges and police officers available to practitioners in Member States on a 24/7 basis, to ensuring that information about organised crime cases allows Eurojust to coordinate responses across the EU. |
