Press Release: Final meeting on implementing the new Eurojust Decision in Member States

The final meeting of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on the implementation of the new Eurojust Decision in the Member States took place at Eurojust in The Hague on 10-11 November 2011.

The new Decision aims to make Eurojust still more effective in Europe’s fight against serious cross-border crime. It includes a wide range of measures, from making Eurojust’s prosecutors, judges and police officers available to practitioners in Member States on a 24/7 basis, to ensuring that information about organised crime cases allows Eurojust to coordinate responses across the EU.
