Rehn insists Brussels bodies can oversee treaty

Article reports Olli Rehn, the European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs saying on the 12 December 2011 that a new fiscal treaty will be enforceable by European Union institutions despite United Kingdom misgivings expressed at the European Council, Brussels, 8-9 December 2011, adding that many of its provisions were already in place.
