From 12–14 February 2012, European Commissioner for Development, Andris Piebalgs, will visit Burma/Myanmar. In response to the impressive reform agenda which began to take shape there after the new civilian Government took office, he will announce a new €150 million assistance package to support democratic reforms and inclusive development in the country.
