EADS doubles dividend despite challenges

The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) gave its annual report and results for 2011 on the 7 March 2012.

The FT reported that EADS doubled its dividend in a further sign that the company had turned a corner after a period dominated by large cost overruns on its biggest programmes.

The BBC reported that EADS reported higher annual profits after delivering a record number of its Airbus aircraft to customers.
