Press Release: EU-ASEAN Ministerial Meeting set to take relations with South-East Asia to a new level

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the Commission, is travelling to Brunei to meet with Foreign Ministers of the 10 ASEAN Member States and the Secretary General of ASEAN.

The EU-ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, which will take place on 26-27 April, is set to strengthen the European Union's relations with South-East Asia. This year's meeting coincides with the 35th anniversary of the official relations between the EU and ASEAN.
