Syriza shatters Greece’s staid political order

Features looks at the emergence of Syriza – a coalition of a dozen far-left factions led by Alexis Tsipras in Greece in 2012. To the astonishment even of its own members, the group came second in the 6 May 2012 general election, capturing 16.7% of the vote.
