Sausage row hits Croatian-Slovenian relations

On 21 August 2012 EurActiv reported that renewed tension arose between Croatia and Slovenia concerning a sausage named after the Slovenian region of Kranjska. In order to protect its national producers Croatia raised objections to the request of Slovenia to obtain protected geographical status for 'Kranjska klobasa'.
