EU-Egypt Task Force – Co-chairs conclusions

The first meeting of the joint Egypt-European Union (EU) Task Force took place on 14th November 2012 in Cairo as agreed on the occasion of the visit of President Mohamed Morsi to Brussels on 13th September 2012. The Task Force was launched by Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr and Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative/Vice president and was inaugurated by Egypt's Prime Minister H.E. Dr. Hisham Kandil. Ministers of the Egyptian Government, European Foreign Ministers, EU Commissioners, Members of Parliament,
President of the EIB, International Financial Institutions’ senior officials, business leaders, the Secretary General of the UfM, as well as representatives from civil society, participated in the Task Force.
