Press Release: High Representative Catherine Ashton appoints new Head of EU Delegation to Myanmar/Burma

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the Commission, announced on 31 May 2013 the appointment of Roland Kobia as Head of the EU Delegation to Myanmar/Burma. Currently Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Mr Kobia has also served in the former European Commission Delegations to Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
