Press Release: Catherine Ashton travels to Moldova

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission Catherine Ashton travelled to Moldova on 9 July 2013.

In Chisinau she met with Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman. They discussed the on-going political and economic reforms in Moldova, the political association and economic integration with the EU and the settlement of the Transnistria-conflict.
