	The trial of 103 suspected plotters of Turkey's 1997 military coup opened in Ankara on the 2 September 2013. Ex-army chief General Ismail Hakki Karadayi and his co-accused were charged with ousting Turkey's first Islamist government under Necmettin Erbakan.
