The European Commission published its third annual report on the European Progress Microfinance Facility in July 2013. According to the report more than 6000 entrepreneurs benefited from loans worth a total of close to €50 million until September 2013. The report confirmed that Progress Microfinance significantly contributed to job creation, helping a high percentage of people who had been previously unemployed or inactive into employment.
