Memo: President-elect Juncker interviews candidates for Commissioner

On 2 September 2014 President-elect of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker started interviewing Member State's candidates for Commissioner, before taking a final decision and communicating the list of Commissioners-designate to the Council of the European Union.

On the 4 September 2014, EurActiv published a leaked organogram in which the new commissioners had already been assigned their portfolios for the new European Commission.
