Shale gas firms face EU methane emissions regulation

Jos Delbeke, the director of the European Commission’s climate department, told EurActiv on the 3 October 2013 that shale gas companies operating in Europe would soon have to monitor, log and account for methane emissions at drill sites or else face regulation.
