The European Commission on 6 November 2013 released a study on the regulatory costs in the aluminium sector. In line with the Commission's determination to maintain the momentum behind its Regulatory Fitness and Performance Programme, as recently endorsed by the European Council, the study looks at the situation in a specific sector and how this can best be tackled.

The report, the Assessment of the Cumulative Cost Impact (CCA) for the Aluminium Industry, was created by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) on behalf of the European Commission.
