US and EU ‘make progress’ in free trade area talks

EU and US officials ended on the 3 October 2014 the 7th round of week-long negotiations in Washington, D.C. (US) on the proposed Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

Officials stated that progress had been made.
