Statement: Commissioner Barnier welcomes yes vote in Denmark’s referendum on Unified Patent Court

On 26 May 2014, the Danish people voted in a referendum in favour of joining the Unified Patent Court (UPC). The Agreement on the UPC was set up a single and specialised EU patent jurisdiction.
