Greece requests emergency EU aid to fund migrant surge

According to several news sources on the 4 September 2014, Greece asked for 63 million euros in funding to cope with a surge in migrants from Africa and the Middle East. Numbers were expected to triple on 2013's figures by the end of 2014.
