The European Commission has requested on the 20 October 2014 the German telecoms regulator (Bundesnetzagentur - BNetzA) to amend or withdraw its proposal on mobile termination rates (MTRs) for the fifth time. BNetzA proposed to introduce MTRs for operator sipgate Wireless, which were up to 80% higher than in most other EU Member States; costs which ultimately mobile phone users would pay. |
