A meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council was held on 15-16 December 2014. The agenda includes the following topics: + Agreement on the 2015 fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks in EU, non-EU waters and in the Black Sea; + Adoption of conclusions on the error rate for agriculture expenditure and on strengthening the EU policies for young farmers; + Exchange of views on the future of the dairy (milk) sector; + Debate on organic farming, based on a document prepared by the Council presidency; + Briefing on the progress towards a Council agreement on a number of legislative proposals, icluding the EU School Fruit, Vegetables and Milk Scheme, official controls, plant health and zootechnical conditions for trade of breeding animals. |
